Installed Java (jdk-7u10-windows-i586) Maybe?

Hello,

I ran the install program for jdk-7u10-windows-i586 and it seemed to work correctly but I cannot run the software, no links, etc. What should I be looking for and how can I tell if it completed properly. I tried to register the software but the site said there was a registration error. Should I reinstall? If you have any other suggestions, please help. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.
