Installation problem

I have a downloaded version of Oracle 9.0.2.0.1 on CD-rom. When I want to install, I get this error :
"
The Java RunTime Environment was not found at:
C:\documents...\...\...\Temp\OraInstall2002-10-17_10-28-52AM\jre\bin\javaw.exe. Hence, the Oracle Universal Installer cannot be run.
Please visit http://www.javasoft.com and install JRE version 1.3.1 or higher and try again.
"

I have tried to install on 4 different machines, some off them already have an Oracle 9i database ( version 9.0.1 ) installed. I keep getting the same error.

What's wrong ???

( I get the same error when I want to install Developer Suite )
