Hi,
Just wondering if there is any work around for this:
After executing this script: /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0.4/grid/root.sh at the very end of the installation.
As a pre-installation I have followed the below:
https://oracle-base.com/articles/11g/oracle-db-11gr2-installation-on-oracle-linux-7
I got this error:
Adding daemon to inittab
CRS-4124: Oracle High Availability Services startup failed.
CRS-4000: Command Start failed, or completed with errors.
ohasd failed to start: Inappropriate ioctl for device.
That I fixed following: http://myorastuff.blogspot.co.uk/2015/10/crs-4124-oracle-high-availability.html
and now I am getting the below:
Adding daemon to inittab
Failure to execute: No such file or directory for command /sbin/initctl start oracle-ohasd
Failed to start oracle-ohasd, error: Inappropriate ioctl for device
ohasd failed to start: Inappropriate ioctl for device at /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0.4/grid/crs/install/roothas.pl line 296.
