installation freezing

When my installation of "j2sdk-1_4_2_04-nb-3_6-bin-windows.exe" gets to 48%, it freezes. This is the java sdk 1.4.2 with NetBeans IDE 3.6 installation. Should I just stick with the regular one, or is it just me that is doing something wrong? The program has internet access (im using Zonalarm Security Suite and have allowed it access).

Apparently it is in the process of installing
"C:\j2sdk1.4.2_04\_uninst\custom-install.bat"

I tried the installation again, and the same thing. I have read the installation instructions, and it appears that there is no explenation for this. Is there something I missed?

Anyhow, in advance, thanks heaps for any help.
