Install problems with Windows 2008 R2

I have some difficulties to install a Win2k8 R2 - Server. We are using Dell Poweredge 2950 III as VI-nodes.
The procedure we are following is like this:
1. Create a VM with the setting "other Windows"
2. The installer of Win2k8 run successfully through the points "expanding" and "extracting to disk".
3. The VM does a reboot requested by the installer
4. After showing the boot splash screen of windows, the machine hangs with a bluescreen, telling me that it had shutdown to prevent further damage.
This happens every time, we try to install.
Are there any hints for some tweaking the nodes or the VI parameter?
