Inserting Arabic data results in "¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿".

Hi All

I am inserting some arabic data into a table. But when I see the table the inserted data is coming like "¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿" .

The table that I am using have two columns with data types VARCHAR2(2 BYTE) and VARCHAR2(40 BYTE).

Any thoughts on this why Arabic data is coming with ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿.
