Insert with different column order

GeReDec 21 2017 — edited Dec 21 2017

Hallo,

first I'm sry for my bad english. Second I'm new in Oracle and

I've a question about INSERT-Statement and different Column order.

I ask this because I have no options to test it at the moment.

Example: I have a tabel with 4 Cols

Age, Adress, ID, Name

And the Insert Statement look like

INSERT INTO Person (ID, Name, Age, Adress)

VALUES(1, "Max", 33,"Testadress")

Can this work or

must I use the same order like

INSERT INTO Person (Age, Adress, ID, Name)

VALUES(33,"Testadress" 1, "Max")

Thank and best regards
GeRe
