We have a process that runs fine most of the time but once in a while (without a specific pattern) this process "hangs" completely and we have to kill the process and the session on the database and restart the process again. After restarting the process, it works perfectly.
This is an issue happening in 2 out of 3 environments we currently have. All the environments have the exact same data and exact same database settings/configurations.
I am attaching a screen shot of the session when it is hanging. It shows that there is a wait on the SQL*Net message from client, but I am not certain this is the issue. The network team has reviewed the network at the time of the hanging and found no issues.
Any ideas on how we could narrow this problem down?
Please see attachment with the hung session.
