Insert data into Oracle using a mass of flat text files

PAN KEVINNov 8 2017 — edited Nov 16 2017

Hello folks,

There I have a mass of flat text files which wanted to insert into Oracle, so which method will be most efficient. The data is like the following.

89.500000 -179.500000 2005\1\1 2005 1 1 -9999.000000 -9999.000000 -9999.000000

89.500000 -178.500000 2005\1\1 2005 1 1 -9999.000000 -9999.000000 -9999.000000

89.500000 -177.500000 2005\1\1 2005 1 1 -9999.000000 -9999.000000 -9999.000000

89.500000 -176.500000 2005\1\1 2005 1 1 -9999.000000 -9999.000000 -9999.000000

89.500000 -175.500000 2005\1\1 2005 1 1 0.031494            304.000000    215.500000

It would be very helpful if you could give the example of each utility like UTL, External Tables or spool of sql*plus etc

I am operating in verison 12c.

Thanks,
