INS-35373: Single-instance database not detected

vasanthFeb 26 2011 — edited Mar 3 2011
Hi,

Im just upgrading my database 11.1.0.7 to higher version 11.2.0.1. After Clicking the radio button of upgrading the existing database in installation steps, it showing ,
INS-35373: Single-instance database not detected
there is no action for this bug i think. But in the final step of uppgradation it asks to select a database from the list. But there is no database in that list, it remains blank. Another way in that option they mentioning that if there is no datatabase in the list, put entry of your oracle home path in oratab.
That to i did it. Now cant able to complete final step. Im getting block here in this step. :(

Im using RHEL linux 5.0 OS. R12.1.3 EBS version.

Thanks,
vasanth
