INK API : Digital Signature

I would like to create a text field on an APEX form that accepts a signature from a stylus ( on a tablet PC) .

... Smililar to the INK API used in the .NET framework.

What API exists in Oracle for doing this ? -
If this is not directly supported in Oracle, may be I have to into a hybrid of AJAX & Active-X for doing this ?

Any ideas ?
