Informix Connections

Windows 10 64-bit, SQL Developer 4.1.2.20

I'm trying to talk to Informix through SQL Developer and it looks like that's not supported. I do see you can add a JDBC tab and I wanted to monkey around with that, but am having trouble finding instructions on adding a JDBC tab in the red area

Can someone please point me to instructions for adding a tab here? And do you confirm that connecting to Informix databases through SQL Developer is not possible?
