Informatica is unable to read from PeopleSoft source ?
ShamilMar 20 2008 — edited Mar 25 2008I have just installed the Oracle BI Apps 7.9.4 and I am trying to start 'Human Resources - Peoplesoft 8.8' Execution plan from DAC console. However Informatica workflows/sessions are failing with the following error message:
READER_1_1_1> CMN_1154 Error occurred loading library:
CMN_1154 [Database driver event...Error occurred loading library [pmpsft.dll]. System error encountered is 0. Error text is The specified module could not be found. .]
As I have some experience with Informatica, I was able to identify the following: All (peoplesoft related) Informatica mappings are accessing the the source via mapplets. In the workflow manager connects these mapplets via 'PSFT Reader' to a Application connection variable $DBConnection_OLTP. The variable value comes from parameter file.
I guess loading Peoplesoft Application Reader drivers (pmpsft.dll) makes Informatica to fail. I could not find the ddl file in the installation folder. Did Oracle forget to ship it with BI Applications installation ???
