Increasing DB_FILES parameter without bouncing DB in 11.1.0

IS there any way that i can increase DB_FILES parameter without bouncing the DB in SQL*Plus: Release 11.1.0.7.0

i was getting this error--
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00059: maximum number of DB_FILES exceeded
