inconsistent datatypes: expected TIMESTAMP got TIMESTAMP

Yes, that's the error message when I do:

select from_tz(systimestamp,'US/Pacific') from dual;

I get a rather funny error message:
ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected TIMESTAMP got TIMESTAMP

What gives?
