Income Statement / Profit and Loss

Mtn_StateFeb 15 2008 — edited Apr 23 2008
Hi,
I am new to OBIEE and need to create an income statement. So I start with the account type column (values of Revenue, Cost of Sales, General Exp, Depreciation, Interest, Tax). I need to total each account type and also create totals between accounts. The grand total is the net income/loss. The intermediary totals I need are Gross Margin (Revenue - COS), EBITDA (Gross Margin – General Exp), Income from Operations, (EBITDA – Depreciation and Amortization), etc. Essentially this is a running total of level breaks. I believe it can be done using bins, but this creates several more columns. Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks in advance!
