Include the comma in value of a Select List

Hi all,

is there a way in APEX to have a comma "," included in a value of a select list.

Normally it seems the comma seperates values in the list, but I want the comma be part of a value

     i.e. "Apple", "Prune", "Cherry" generates 3 selectable values in a select list

            How can I force that this is one selectable value in the list?

Any idea?
