INBOX download using POP3

Hi,

we are running messaging 6.2 on solaris 10
Sun Java(tm) System Messaging Server 6.2-7.05 (built Sep 5 2006)
libimta.so 6.2-7.05 (built 12:18:44, Sep 5 2006)

One of users has configured e-mail client with POP3 and downloaded INBOX and no mails left on server. he forgot to mention "retain a copy on server option" and now he wants his INBOX to be recovered.

Please let me know if anyways to do this?
