Could any one let me know how to use In the ALLOCATE or CONFIGURE CHANNEL commands, the RATE parameter specifies the bytes/second that are read on a channel.

For example, if you set RATE 1500K, and if each disk drive delivers 3 MB/second, then the channel leaves some disk bandwidth available to the online system.(My intention is use to channel based on the speed of rate for read/write to reduce the IOPS on the system.

Could any one help me on this , it would be really appreciate the quicker response .
