Importing a large dmp file
411227Dec 18 2003 — edited Dec 18 2003Hi All,
I have Oracle 8i Enterprise Edition installed on Redhat 7.3
I am trying to import dmp file of size 10 GB. I have created tablespace and used autoextend on next 1000M maxsize unlimited. I have also used coalesce.
I have more than 60 GB space available on my drive.
While doing an import I am getting the following errors and the import is partial.
IMP-00058: ORACLE error 1237 encountered
ORA-01237: cannot extend datafile 8
ORA-01110: data file 8: '/home/ide/oracle/app/oracle/oradata/oracle/traffic.dbf'
ORA-27059: skgfrsz: could not reduce file size
Linux Error: 22: Invalid argument
Additional information: 1
IMP-00018: partial import of previous table completed: 6473708 rows imported
Please help and guide me as to what I might be doing wrong and what would be the right way to do the same
Thanks,
-Aks
