Import with imp command freezes during execution

Hi to all,
I have an installation of an oracle 11.2.0.1.0 x64 edition database for use in developing applications. My pc runs Windows 7 Enterprise x64 on an i7-950@3.07Ghz CPU with 6GB RAM and RAID 0 (stripping) with 2 SATA3 WD Disks. My problem occurs sometimes when i try to load a backup from a dmp file with the imp command line command. The import process begins but sometimes it freezes for unknown reason!
Is there any way that I can track the problem through a log or somehow? Does anyone had a similar problem? I have tried to create another fresh database but I get the same error.
Any suggestions are more than welcome!!!
