Import Data from Excel - uppercase characters converted to lowercase

Hi,

I have noticed a problem when importing data into a table from excel - all uppercase characters are converted to lowercase.
SQLDeveloper version 1.1.0.23.64
MS Excel 2002 (10.6789.6802) SP3
Oracle 9.2.0.6.0

Interestingly, the insert sql displayed shows the original uppercase values.
Additionally, not all the insert statements are shown - I don't know if this is intentional or not.
