Implementing Inactive or Archival Options for Erroneous or Redundant Records in Oracle Unifier

Liam5712Jun 18 2024

I am seeking a solution within Oracle Unifier to address the management of erroneous or obsolete records. Specifically, there is a need to set these records to an inactive state, archive them, or ideally, permanently delete them. This requirement is particularly crucial for maintaining clarity and efficiency in views such as Project Requests and Projects.

The presence of incorrect or redundant data entries over time leads to significant clutter and hampers productivity. Given the inevitability of human error in data entry processes, it is essential to have robust mechanisms to manage such records effectively.

An optimal solution would provide options to at least hide (archive) these records from active views, if not completely remove them from the system. This capability would greatly enhance the usability and accuracy of data within Oracle Unifier, contributing to a more streamlined and error-free operational environment.
