Implement Oracle GoldenGate for replication between 2 schema on same DB

Hi,

We have a situation where the application is being upgraded from App version 4 to App version 5. This application uses Oracle DB v 11.2.0.4. As a part of upgrade the Old and new schema both reside on the same Oracle DB Instance. We are planning to use Oracle GoldenGate to replicate and move data from Old to new schema. We have Oracle GoldenGate 12.2

Are there any challenges with this kind of OGG implementation. For e.g. The EXTRACT / PUMP / REPLIACTE will all need to be on the same server. There are some changes in table structures etc which can be taken care of while creating the extract  & replicate parameter files.
