IMPDP REMAP_TABLESPACE(multiple tablespaces)

701097Mar 15 2010 — edited Jan 20 2013
Hello All,
We have 4 table spaces for data and 4 table spaces for index on source db. We would like to use REMAP_TABLESPACE on target database. but we want to use only two table spaces on target db(one for data and one for index). Is this going to work? If yes then do i have to run two impdp command separately one for remapping four data table spaces from source to one data table space on target db and another impdp to map 4 index table spaces on source to one index table space on target db. Can you please give example here?

Thank you in advance.

-Mal.
