impdp/expdp - Is parallel really parallel?Session holding exclusive lock

Oracle 10.2.0.4:

I am unloading data from a table that is 1TB of size. It has LOB columns. I started 2hrs ago and is still running. In the log file and "Export" prompt the status doesn't give much information. I am using parallel=10 also. Looking at the file size it seems to be fetching blobs very slowly. My question is:

1. How can I speed it up?
2. Is there a way to get more detailed information about where the bottleneck is?
