impdp exclude index

hi all,

Good day...

DB version is 10.2.0.4

Table of 36gb is exported and while importing using impdp i gave

exclude=INDEX:\"IN\(\'GMF_LOT_COST_DETAILS_U1\')"

But after this too..while importing it tries to import the index..as i could see the number of rows increasing in the index..why it is so? Does specifyiing exclude=index is enough!!!
