Impact when we down the DB Server, on which OEM is being run.

Dear All,

We have the following below scenario:

We have a VM, on which OEM had been configured for all rest of the VMs (Databases) (nearly 40 VmS) in the DEV & QA environment (Both Standalone & RAC). Now, due to some space constraint on the VM, Sys Admin would like to add additional storage on the VM where OEM is being run. In order to add the storage, we have to reboot the VM (OEM is been configured).

At this juncture, what precautionary measures are to be taken in order to reboot the VM as all the rest of the Servers had been configured and being monitored from VM, on which OEM had been configured and monitored. Would there be any impact on the Servers which had been configured on this VM.

The database version on which OEM had been configured is Oracle 11g and OS is Linux x86_64

I would be very much thankful for your great suggestions.

Thanks,

Khasim
