impact of time clock changes on Running Oracle RAC

Hi ,

we running 2 node RAC cluster without NTP configuration and using CTSS to sync time. current time of both servers are 7 to 8 minutes behind of NTP server. Now we want to configure NTP for both nodes. Will NTP work with CTSS or CTSS need to be removed. kindly suggest.

If enable NTP only on master node will time will be sync on both node using CTSS. ( assuming master node will not go down).

Database version - 11.2.0.4

OS - hp-ux

CTSS daemon is in observer mode.
