Impact of dropping column(s) on a table

Hi,

Using oracle 11.2.0.3

We wish to drop a couple of columns from a table as part of a tidy-up exercise- as they are not required - application code referencing them will be changed.

Anyone see any negative impact - these are non-indexed columns thus cannot foresee any problems - just thought I'd check in case anyone encountered any issues doing similar.
