image cache on apex.oracle.com

Hi,
I would like to use image cache on an hosted environment like apex.oracle.com.
I already implemented the solution proposed by John Scott in link:[http://jes.blogs.shellprompt.net/2007/05/18/apex-delivering-pages-in-3-seconds-or-less/]
on my local apex (version 2.1) and it works perfectly
but to make it work I had to modify the function FLOWS_020100.wwv_flow_epg_include_mod_local using the SYS db user.
How can I do the same on apex.oracle.com without SYS?
Is there any other solution?
