IBM DDYS-T18350N not seen in solaris 9

I have installed Solaris 9 on an old Sparcstation 20. I 've added 2 external SCSI disks IBM DDYS-T18350N . The probe-scsi-all command see the disks:

When I type the format command I don't see the disks:
