I need to filter a column which is having < 180 minutes as difference but failed with "from keyword"

User_QDSE2Jul 25 2022

select a.xxx, b.yyy, (a.req_ship_date - b.status_Date)*24*60 < 180 as difference from table a, table b where a.xxx=b.xxx
i am able to get values for below query without filtering for < 180 minutes. please suggest.
select a.xxx, b.yyy, (a.req_ship_date - b.status_Date)*24*60 as difference from table a, table b where a.xxx=b.xxx
both columns are in Date Datatype.
Also, i have 1 column with varchar 2 which is having date range like '02:00 PM - 03:00 PM' , how to compare with another column with Date Datatype which is having value like '2022-06-01 00:35:42'
