I have a VM image in VMDK/QCOW2/Raw disk format, and I want to use it as a block volume in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

  • Is there a direct method or tool in OCI to convert these disk formats into a block volume?
  • If not, what would be the recommended approach or any workarounds to achieve this?
  • The goal is to attach the converted volume to a VM instance for boot or data purposes.
