I would like to set the "Format Mask" for this field (field name = "JAN") to either Currency or Number (with 4 decimals) depending on the Record Type which is stored as another field in the same table. I tried adding a new field in the table called "APEX_FORMAT_MASK" and setting that field to the relevant format mask of either FML999G999G999G999G990D00 (for currency) or 999G999G999G999G990D0000 (for Number w/ 4 decimals). I then added added "&APEX_FORMAT_MASK" to the Format Mask item property of the "JAN" field but get this error shown below.
