I am no longer able to connect to my Ubuntu instance via PuTTY or WinSCP with my private key.

As the title says I keep getting throw errors when trying to connect saying "No supported authentication methods available (server sent: publickey)" I believe I may have changed the permission allowing me to connect with my private key. As a nail in the coffin, when trying to connect with the Oracle cloud shell it asks for my username and password, I know my username but not the password as I set this instance up years ago and don't even remember creating a password for it.
