I am getting CertificateExpiredException though the certificate is valid

Hi
I am getting the following error
Expiry exception cause is java.security.cert.CertificateExpiredException: NotAfter: Sat Jan 01 05:29:59 GMT+05:30 2000

Though the certificate is valid.
When i try hitting other sites it gives me the desired response.

What maybe the possible reasons to this problem.
