Hi All,
Just thought I'd revive an old topic that I never really got a solution for. The only fix was to re-image / re-build all affected users computers. We have mostly gotten rid of the issue although occasionally we will have a user experience long login times and an eventual error related to 'cannot find the homepage.wsp'. Any ideas on this? Telling users to rebuild their machines seems like the wrong answer.
Greatly Appreciated,
Mike
See old post below.
We have several users experiencing intermittent login issues when trying to login to Workspace. This can result in 45 minute sessions of rebooting, clearing cookies, etc. to try and login properly. I believe some of these happen as soon as you login and others happen when users try to navigate for Reports via Explore.
Most errors share the theme of communication errors. Some examples:
1. An Error Occurred Communicating with the Server
2. An Error Occurred Processing the Result from the Server
3. The Repository Object with uudi, HomePage_wsp, could not be found.
I don't believe this a permissions issue as the Shared Workspace Pages folder has the proper 'World' read access and always has. The majority of our users don't get these errors..it's only 10 or 15 (that we know of). We didn't get these errors until we made IPSEC changes in June and converted from our URL of Https to Http.
Any ideas?
Greatly Appreciated,
Mike
