Problems in the exporting of data
from HSF to Oracle 10g database
Our Consultants have met some problems relating to the exporting of data(Entity，Time，Accounts，Scenario and data) to the Oracle10g relational database.
Our consultants’ setting steps in the HSF and the problems they have faced are described as follows:
Step 1: at the sever administrator of HSF, click Server > Setting menu, select Oracle database
Step 2: click Database> External Database, if “Export” is selected, then the HSF shows the following picture:
If “Extended Analytics” is selected, the following HSF picture is shown:
Results:
When “Extended Analytics”has been selected, “Connection String”should be entered in the next input field. Through the configuration of Chart 3, a correct connection can be done to Oracle Database. However, when “Export” is selected, “OLEDB Data Source”need to be entered in the next input field as shown in Chart 2, but the configuration as set in Chart 2 cannot lead to a successful connection to Oracle Database, the HSF shows the following errors:
Questions:
1. Is the above setting steps correct?
2. When “Export” is used to export data from the HSF server to a relational database, what are the correct contents and format needed to be entered in the input field of OLEDB Data Source？Could you provide us with an example?
3. We wonder if any “Check In” at the client end will lead to an “Export” action.
4. Are all the data of HSF Database on the HSF sever exported to the relational database when an “Export” is done each time?
