Hyperion planning dataform - Formula column and Formula ROW error

Hi,

We have a Hyperion form where we have Formula Column for calculating the VARIANCE (Budget - Actual). There is a Formula Row TOTAL (Sum of Row 1). The total value of the formula row is correct for all the columns. But when it comes to the total values of the VARIANCE column, then the numerical value is right but the sign (+/-) is wrong.

For example if the sum of the VARIANCE column is -2345678 it is displayed as 2345678. I feel it is mainly because of the conflict between the Formula Row and Formula Column.Please suggest any solution.
