Hyperion Planning and FDMEE upgradation

JanGLiSep 13 2017 — edited Sep 14 2017

Hi,

I have an old system, hyperion planning 11.1.2.2 everything is installed on linux except FDQM which is installed on windows server.

Now i want to upgrade my system to 11.1.2.4.
This is what i think i should do based on my knowledge...

- upgrade my linux components using the up-gradation path.

- After up-gradation of linux components i would install and configure FDMEE on linux machine...

- Manually create all the data sources... mapping... locations data load rules in FDMEE.

Reservation:

- What about registries of FDQM? my foundation would already have a FDQM system registries... wouldn't it conflict with newly installed/configured FDMEE ? or shall i un-configure FDQM before starting up-gradation? or shall i upgrade FDQM as well.... and than migrate the FDMEE of windows to Linux.

Kindly guide what to do...

Regards
