We are using Hyperion Planning and Budgeting application version 11.1.2.4. On 20th May 2019 afternoon, we noticed that some data was deleted from the forms of PLANA in our PROD environment. We have logs and backups enabled in PROD. The TEST environment is similar to PROD, we did the following to recapture the data in TEST environment:
1. Restore the PLANA backup of PROD of 19th from MAXL commands to TEST environments
2. Now for reply, i copied the trlogs of PROD to TEST environment and the REPLAY folder of PROD PLANA to TEST
3. I restarted the services in TEST environment
4. When i did list transactions on TEST environment, it showed all the sequences.
5. I applied all the sequences successfully till 19th May 2019 end of day, but we still had the data in forms of TEST environment
6. We have daily backups of essbase running early morning 2:00am, so we restored the 20th May 2019 backup, when we restored the 20th backup we saw that the forms does not have data. So this meant that data was deleted in between 19th and 20th. Our understanding is the data was deleted on 19th may 2019 between 9:00am to 12:00pm, I believe the replay transactions are not applying successfully althought it is successfully completing without any error, and the messages are :
OK/INFO - 1056213 - message from server [Calculating in serial].
OK/INFO - 1056023 - Database MKMPLAN.PLANA altered.
Are we doing anything wrong? please advice
