We are in the middle of EPM upgrade. We just finished the 11.2.14 but now 11.2.15 is available and we are looking for upgrade to 11.2.15 before go live in Mar 2024. All environments are already build and tested with 11.2.14. We would like advise how to upgrade it to 11.2.15.
11.2.14 environment has eight server using OS Linux 7x with following configuration
2 servers are foundation server with OHS, Shared service, Calc Manager, FDMEE, APS and EAS installed and configured
2 server are Planning server
4 servers are Essbase server with two clusters.
Can we directly upgrade the 11.2.14 environment with 11.2.15. Here are some of our questions
- Do we need to remove the EAS from foundation server and install and configure it in Essbase server with 11.2.14 before upgrading to 11.2.15
- Do I need to run the RCU in all four Essbase server and reconfigure the Essbase server with EAS
- Can I configure the APS in foundation server
- Can we directly migrate the Planning applications from 11.1.2.4 to 11.2.15 using LCM
