Hyperion DRM Upgrade from 11.1.2.4 to 11.2 Approach

Hi All,
We are planning for an DRM upgrade from 11.1.2.4. to 11.2.
And I am looking for some approach documents , where we can do a database copy or we need to use migration utility to migrate the objects manually.
If we can use database copy then everything including the versions and objects will get copied to 11.2.?
Please, provide some pointers ..
