Hi All,

I am new to Hyperion and I just want to know Hyperion Deployment on Web logic for multiple server.


I have Hyperion components installed in following location.

Example:

Machine 1: HSS, EAS, HPS
Machine 2: Planning
Machine 3: EPM, FR

Q1:

If i want to deploy all the components in web logic do i need to installed Web logic in all the servers (Machine1, Machine2, Machine3) or i have to install only on HSS machine.

if that is that case how do i mention the bea home folder when i deploy Hyperion planning from other server (Machine2).



Q2:

If i installed web logic on all the servers do i need to create new domains for all the Hyperion components at time of deployment?

Q3:

for example:

My Planning is in Machine3 and my Web logic is in Machine1.

Is it possible to deploy the planning service in to web logic mahine1?

if so how to give the bea home folder? Can i give //<weblogicservername>/bea/weblogic92

Under EPM system configurator->select Hyperion Planning->select Deploye to Application server-> "Select bea home folder"


Please help me on this issue.
