HTTP SERVER to use port 80

Danw-OracleMay 25 2007 — edited Jun 21 2007
Hi All,

I have been breaking my head over this..

I have Oracle 10g iAS installed on a RHEL server as oracle user (not root).
for a URL that looks like this -
http://servername.us.oracle.com:7777/pls/htmldb
I want it to look like this -
http://servername.us.oracle.com/pls/htmldb

From Enterprise Manager, I go to Administration under HTTP Server and changed the default port to 80 and added a listening port 7777. Then I bounced the HTTP Server and tried this URL, http://servername.us.oracle.com/pls/htmldb, but no luck. It gave me a page not found error.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Thanks!
Dan.
