Http-Client on CDC/PBP

Hi,
We are working in designing a browser for CDC/PBP based j2me embedded device. We seek the http-client support in the browser. Is there open source available for ths entity, which is similar to apache's Jakarta (commons-http-client project). The platform we are working is vxworks. Kindly let me know if there are such project. if it is specific to the profile it will be fine, event otherwise if they are close to the profile that should also be fine.
