HTTP/1.1 vs HTTP/1.0

Hey guys,

I'm not sure how to state this, but I need to know if it is possible to use HTTP/1.0 as communication protocol when running a Forms application.
Our network administrator told that the current protocol is HTTP/1.1.

Now why would I want to use HTTP/1.0 instead of 1.1?
We use a hardware loadbalancer (Alteon), and if we want to disable any new connection to a particular server, this is only supported via HTTP/1.0.

So, is 1.0 supported for Forms services (AS10G 9.0.4 & 10.1.2), and how is this accomplished?
