HTML hyperlink to call another page?

853243Aug 17 2011 — edited May 17 2013
Hello

APEX - 4
DB version - 10g
Web server architecture - OHS
Browser - IE8
Theme - 5
application number = 129

I have created a new chart page (50), I can call it from a button and it works ok, but I would like to call it from a hyperlink. Should I create a text item and
use the pre element text and post element text to change it to a link and if so what do I need to put in the pre element text area if I would it to say "box chart", I assume in post element
text I would put </a>

would it be something like
box chart

I tried this and I get an underlined label that says box chart and a text box and if I click the label it displays the Apex login page. Should it be a button I setup to convert to a hyperlink.
It seems like the most basic thing a person would want to do, but I cannot figure it out.

Thank you in advance for any assistance.
