HQL vs Criteria

Hi All,

Sorry for posting Hinbernate related Topic here, but I have posted in Hibernate Forum but I couldnt fine any reply.

I want to know which one is faster - HQL or Criteria?
And Criteria Queries are converted into HQL and then SQL when executed?
